I am a mixed media artist. When I work with mixed media I am reminded that I have more options than I have education; I have seen what other artist do, and been taught in and out of classrooms. I am reminded of why I make art: I can express myself as I truly feel and its more fun then doing most other things. I learned at a young age that drawing not only gives me the ability to pay attention to my surroundings (doodling in class), but it also is there to help me achieve complete escape. If a picture is truly worth 1000 words, then my art work can best articulate my thoughts. Most times I make art for something to do.
